1. Acceptance of the rules
By accessing this website, creating an account or downloading NexSSH, you agree to be bound by these rules. If you do not agree with any part of them, you must not use the website or the software. These rules apply to every visitor and registered user, and to all versions of the NexSSH application distributed through this site.
2. The service
NexSSH is a desktop application for Windows that provides SSH terminal access, SFTP file transfers, tunneling, monitoring and credential management. This website is the official distribution channel for the application and provides documentation, support channels and account services. The software itself runs entirely on your machine and connects only to the servers you configure.
3. License
NexSSH is licensed to you, not sold. You may install and use the application on any machine you own or control, for personal or commercial purposes. You may not redistribute the installer, sell or sublicense the software, reverse-engineer it to create a competing product, or remove any branding, notices or attribution contained within it.
4. Accounts
A free account is required to download the software. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Accounts that violate these rules or abuse the service may be suspended.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use NexSSH and this website only for lawful purposes. You must not use the software to gain unauthorized access to any system, distribute malware, attack or disrupt networks, or violate the laws of your jurisdiction. Your server connections remain your responsibility — NexSSH is a tool, and you are its operator.
6. Privacy & your data
We collect the minimum data required to operate accounts: an email address, a username and a securely hashed password. We never store your application passwords or SSH credentials on our servers — those exist only inside the encrypted vault on your own machine. The application contains no telemetry, analytics or tracking, and we do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
7. Downloads & updates
Installers published on this website are the only official source of NexSSH. Downloading from other sources is at your own risk. New versions may be published periodically; installing them is recommended but not mandatory for continued use of version 1.0.
8. Donations
Donations sent to the official cryptocurrency wallet published on this website are entirely voluntary contributions that support the development of NexSSH. They are not a payment for services and do not unlock features, priority support or any obligation. Donation amounts are never "too small" — every contribution is appreciated more than you know. Because donations go directly to an independent developer, they cannot be refunded; please double-check the wallet address before sending.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The website and the software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation and error-free performance. Always keep backups of your data; encrypted vaults without their master password cannot be recovered by anyone.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author of NexSSH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data or business interruption — arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or the software.
11. Changes to these rules
These rules may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continuing to use the website or the software after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated rules. The effective date of the current version is September 2026.
